The symptoms of Lyme disease can vary widely and are not specific to this disease only. The time from infection to the occurrence of symptoms takes usually between one or two weeks. However, this period may also be significantly shorter or longer, ranging between some days and several months or even years. There may also be an infection without any discernible symptoms but these cases are very rare.
